I talked with Nitro the other day about the progress of v1.0, he doesnt have much time on his hands, he is tied up with his work at Rockstar Games, he works too many hours a day, but he has not given up on making GFTPd v1, otherwise he would not keep paying the hosting bills for this site either.
When or how far he has come is yet unknown to me, as we did not get a chance to chat for a very long time, he was at work.. (the darned 12 hours timezone difference).

Ps, the bastid bought a Dogde Viper !! Evil or Very Mad

the v1 situation has moved into the realm of comedy now.

its not about whether HE has given up on it, but rather that WE have given up on him. since my line of questioning regarding getting this thing moving again vis a vis open source has been completely ignored by nitro, im inclined to dismiss the "obligations to the original developer" claim. meaning that despite his intentions to eventually finish the project, it is his own personal decision to sit on things, essentially choking the project to death.

neither this project, nor the ppl associated with it, deserve this treatment. Sad

I take it that after (literally) years of waiting, v1 is not forthcoming, and v0.x is not going to be supported as a service?

Does this mean that GuildFTP is a dead project?
